Named for their velvety softness, Growly is part of the Velveteen dinosaur collection. This t-rex measures 14 inches from head to tail. These Velveteen Dinos are weighted, providing extra comfort. Picked as one of the Best Toys from Toy Fair 2020 by Fatherly.
My nephew refuses to sleep without it now — the velvety softness is exactly as advertised, and at 14 inches it's the perfect size for him to hug. The extra weight in the body makes it feel surprisingly substantial, like a real little companion rather than a flimsy toy.
The weighted bottom makes it feel surprisingly substantial for a plush—it's like holding a tiny, cozy anchor. My kid hasn't put it down since it arrived, and that velvety fabric really does live up to the name.
The little T-Rex is so soft I keep picking him up just to pet him, and the weight makes him feel solid and calming to hold. My kid dragged him around all weekend and he’s still in perfect shape. Definitely worth every penny.
