My kids were outside the moment we opened the box, and the two mallets mean they can actually play together instead of fighting over turns. The six wooden hoops look so cheerful in the grass, and the starting post was easy to set up.
The wooden hoops are shaped like little animals, which our kids thought was adorable, and the set feels sturdy enough for backyard play. Only gripe is there are just two mallets, so when the neighbor kids join in, someone has to wait their turn.
The wooden hoops have held up fine in our yard, but the mallets feel a bit lightweight for my taste and the balls don't roll super straight on grass. Cute set for the price, though the starting post was tricky to push into the ground. Kids still had fun with it for an afternoon.
