6 textured shapes fit into a shape-sorting bench. Each column of 2 shapes interact with each other; push one down and another pops up – teeter-tottering together for endless fun! The shapes are completely removable for shape sorting, and teething for younger babies. The triangle and hexagon have an extra surprise of gentle rattle sounds.
The teeter-totter mechanism is such a clever twist on a classic sorter; the way one shape pops up when you push its partner down keeps my toddler guessing. She’ll sit and repeat the action for a solid ten minutes, and the six textured shapes give her little fingers plenty to explore.
My one-year-old can’t get enough of pushing those two textured shapes down and watching the other side pop up—it’s genuinely mesmerizing for her. The bench feels sturdy enough for her rough play, and it’s been a solid go-to for keeping her busy during diaper changes.
The teeter-totter action is the real draw here—my little one will sit and push the shapes down just to watch the one on top pop up. It's also nice that the six shapes are all textured, so there's a sensory element beyond just sorting.
