The Matching Mushrooms are designed to match the color of the mushroom top to the color on the sorting board. Help baby learn color names and develop their fine motor skills as they sort each mushroom into the board. For emotional learning, identify emotions associated with colors.
The color-matching boards have really helped my little one pick up her color names quickly, and the mushroom tops fit her hands perfectly without frustration. It’s a simple activity that keeps her focused longer than I expected for her age.
My toddler grabs the stems easily and actually sits still while sorting the tops onto the matching spots. The color-to-color pairing is clear enough that she's starting to say "red" and "blue" on her own after just a few days.
My little one has been obsessed with matching the tops to the board — it’s the first thing she grabs every morning. The pieces are chunky enough for her small hands to grip and twist into place, and I love watching her concentrate on the colors. It’s turned into our favorite quiet-time activity.
