The first thing I did was hand it to my niece, and she immediately hugged it so tight I thought it might pop. The weighted fill makes it feel substantial without being heavy, and the velvety fabric really lives up to its name. I've caught myself squeezing it every time I walk past my couch.
I wasn't expecting much from a plush, but the weight in the shell makes it feel way more substantial than your average stuffed animal. The velvety fabric is genuinely soft, and it's squishy in all the right places for hugging.
